We are devoted to eco-sustainability in our choice of organic, which is why in the fish line we use only fish caught with eco-sustainable methods in respect of nature and marine ecosystems. We have decided to place our brand only on fish certified by Friend of the Sea, an international certification body that guarantees that the products come from sustainable fishing. The Principe di Gerace anchovies are caught with a typical fishing technique of southern Italy, the Lampara, carried out with small boats only Italian, equipped with lamps that attract the fish, then hoisted on board with a floating purse sein. The fish does not undergo any mechanical stress and is not manipulated, thus obtaining a high quality catch. In addition, the selective Lampara does not damage the seabed. The genuine and at the same time sophisticated taste of our anchovies is the result of a combination of excellent ingredients: the freshest FOS certified anchovies and the organic extra virgin olive oil of our production. In the Mediterranean recipe, the anchovies are embellished with spices grown in our fields and make them a gourmet product with an unmistakable taste.
