Femiplus Yame Menopause is a second generation food supplement, based on phytoestrogens (Isfloavonas: genistein, daidzein, etc.) from soy concentrate, vitamins C, E and group B, trace elements: selenium, chromium, zinc and manganese. The product is powered by yame (Dioscorea villosa), rich in diosgenin. Phytoestrogens are nonsteroidal chemical compounds found in plants, but they are similar to human estrogens and with similar (estrogenic effect) or opposite (antiestrogenic effect) action to them. They are normally found in very small amounts in food. Yame is a climbing shrub native to warm climates. The rhizome, rich in diosgenin (steroidal sapogenin), is used as a precursor for the hormones progesterone and pregnenolone. Its contribution of vitamins and trace elements together with toestrogens and diosgenin, make it a truly innovative supplement with the aim of helping to overcome menopause and stimulate the metabolic functions of women. It is recommended to take during breakfast with a little water. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
