Description

Extra Premium Matcha de Biotona is a refined green tea from Japan. Ancestral specialty of prestige in the Japanese tea culture, it was once reserved for the elite. Matcha is made exclusively from the young leaves of the tea plant, traditionally picked by hand in early May. Four weeks before this first harvest, the tea bushes are covered with a tarpaulin to put them in the shade and thus intensify the richness of their composition. The harvested leaves are then ground between two granite stones to obtain an emerald green ultrafine powder. The organic cultivation method and the artisanal treatment make this tea a healthy food with a delicious “umami” taste. It is recommended to add 70-100 ml of hot water (at 80 ° C, just below the boiling point) in a bowl. Can also be used in smoothies and shakes.
