This Essex Pathfinder Guidebook describes 28 circular and graded walks all around Essex, with routes of various distances, so there is something for everyone. The walking routes are all graded for difficulty by experienced walkers and range from extended strolls (from 3 miles long) to exhilarating hikes up to 10 miles long. Each of the walking routes has a detailed route description, OS mapping at 1:25,000 scale, GPS waypoints, plus notes and pictures to help you make the most of your walk. The Essex landscape gently undulates with the highest hills to the north and west of the county, near the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire borders.
