Electric Strapping Tool Quick Heat Welding PP Strap Sealer for Carton Packaging Beginners

Electric PP Strapping Welding Tool Product overview A handheld electric welding tool designed for hotmelt fusion of PP plastic strapping. Lightweight and compact, this tool delivers consistent welded joints for bundling and packaging tasks using machinemade PP tape. Key features and benefits Effective hotmelt fusion for PP straps, suitable for standard packing and bundling tasks. Compatible strap sizes: width 916 mm and thickness 0.61.5 mm, covering common PP strapping dimensions. Low power consumption at 15 W and a 2.5 m power cord for flexible use around workstations. Lightweight pliers design at 400 grams for reduced operator fatigue and easier handling. Simple operation with rapid heating and quick weld cycle for steady production flow. Reliable weld strength when used with recommended machinemade PP hotmelt tape. Specifications Size: Type Color: E Bundling thickness: 0.61.5 mm Bundling width: 916 mm Power: 15 W Power cord length: 2.5 m Pliers weight: 400 g How to use Turn on the power. Wait about 30 seconds for the strapping head to reach operating temperature. Feed machinemade PP hotmelt tape into the tool. Make sure the two strap ends are positioned on the two heating surfaces correctly, with one on the heating element and the other on the bottom element, not overlapping in the same position. Squeeze the handle and hold for 1 to 2 seconds to bring the straps into contact with the heating head. Press firmly until the heating head retracts, then maintain a firm clamp for about 2 seconds to allow the molten surfaces to bond. Release the handle and allow the sealed joint to cool before removing or tensioning the strap. Operational tips and common issues Allow the tool to warm for 3 to 5 minutes after power on; thick PP tape may require slightly longer to reach full fusion temperature. Thin straps need longer fusion time at lower heat. Practice a few test fusions to determine the heating time for different strap thicknesses. Ensure the molten surfaces are joined immediately and clamp firmly. Hold the jaws closed for about 2 seconds after heating to complete the bond. For heavy or critical loads, perform two consecutive heat fusions as added assurance. During heating, a small amount of molten material can seep and accumulate on the heating head. Frequent cleaning of the hot head is essential to prevent buildup from reaching the insulating layers and causing short circuits or transformer damage. If glue or residue accumulates, scrape it off the hot head with a blade while the head is warm. Do not wash the heating head with water, as this can cause electrical short circuits and damage the tool. If resin has flowed into the ironing head or insulating layers, do not continue using the tool until cleaned and inspected. Safety and maintenance notes Use only machinemade PP hotmelt packing tape designed for this type of welding. Do not pick up the strap immediately after heating. Allow the welded joint to cool before handling or applying load. Clean the heating head regularly to prevent electrical faults and to maintain consistent weld quality. If you observe abnormal behavior, overheating, or shorting, stop using the tool and inspect the heating head and internal components before resuming. Suggested applications Securing bundles of cardboard boxes for storage and . Strapping building materials such as lumber, pipes, or metal rods for transport. Palletizing and bundling products in warehouses, logistics centers, and manufacturing lines. This tool is intended for use with machinemade PP hotmelt strapping within the specified width and thickness ranges. Follow the operating and maintenance guidance to achieve reliable welds and extend the working life of the tool.
