Keep hair away from the ear with a clip and disinfect the planned piercing site using the supplied alcohol pad. 3. Open the sterile pack and hold the gun. Position your thumb on the pressure bar for control. 4. Aim at the marked location on the earlobe and press the bar lightly to collapse the mechanism into place. 5. Press down firmly and quickly until the wings on the pressure bar break off and the stud is set. 6. Remove the plastic body by gently pushing it outward while holding the stud in place.
