Washing with cold water initially helps remove wax more quickly. - Product Size - Fine mesh strainer diameter 9 inches, depth 4 inches. Extendable arms provide a total reach of 15.5 inches, easily fitting over honey pans and 5 gallon buckets. - You Will Get - Processing honey through this 1875 um upper mesh and 650 um bottom mesh will result in consistently smooth, light-colored honey. - Use Scenarios - 1) Filter honey from an extractor into a 5 gallon bucket for bulk processing. 2) Filter directly into jars for bottling. 3) Pre-filter into a shallow pan to remove debris before settling or further processing.
