Current Sensor Module INA219 Current Sensor MRS170A I2C Breakout Board 26V 3.2A

1. This distribution board provides integrated power monitoring with the INA219 chip, allowing measurement of high voltage and DC current on I2C with an accuracy of ±1%. 2. Simple usage: power the sensor from 3 to 5 VDC, connect the two I2C pins to your microcontroller, then connect the target power supply to VIN+ and connect the load ground to VIN. 3. A 0.1 ohm, 1% tolerance shunt resistor forms the current sense path. The amplifier’s maximum input difference is ±320 mV, enabling measurements up to ±3.2 A. 4. With a 12-bit ADC, the resolution in the ±3.2 A range is 0.8 mA. When the internal gain is set to the minimum value div8, the maximum current is ±400 mA with a resolution of 0.1 mA. Advanced users can replace the 0.1 ohm current detection resistor with a different value to adjust the range (for example, 0.01 ohm can measure 32 A with a resolution of 8 mA). Use scenarios: - Prototyping microcontroller projects that require reliable monitoring of a 5 V rail (voltage and current) via I2C. - Benchtop testing of DC power supplies or battery packs where precise current measurement is needed. - Development and evaluation of small motor or load drives where a compact, single-sensor power monitor is advantageous.
