Product description: COMPO BIO Universal Soil is a high-quality, peat-free organic universal soil, ideal for all ornamental plants and for the productive cultivation of vegetables, fruits, and herbs year-round. Its composition of 100% natural ingredients complies with the EU Organic Regulation, making it suitable for organic farming. This universal soil is characterized by a particularly high humus content, which promotes the development of strong blossoms and aromatic fruits. The formula is designed for a wide range of applications and consists exclusively of renewable raw materials and valuable, natural, and purely organic ingredients. A special blend of ingredients in COMPO BIO Universal Soil ensures excellent nutrient retention as well as improved water absorption and distribution. The included starter fertilizer guarantees an immediate and long-lasting, natural, and balanced supply of nutrients for up to 5 weeks. This soil not only contributes to visibly healthy plant, vegetable, and herb growth but also to the fruitful and flavorful development of fruit and vegetable crops. The added organic nitrogen component, as a primary nutrient, builds up the green biomass of all plants and vegetables, promoting healthy growth. The packaging consists of over 80% recycled material, meeting the criteria for the Blue Angel ecolabel. Instructions for use: Growing medium for plants with high nutrient requirements, for potting and repotting flowering plants, bedding and balcony plants, and vegetable plants in containers or in the ground. Excludes seedlings, bog plants, and orchids. Fertilizing is necessary after 2 to 5 weeks. Regular repotting at intervals of no more than 2 years promotes the health and development of the plants. It is generally recommended to loosen the potting soil slightly before use to break up any clumps or compaction. 1. Create a good foundation. On balconies and patios, use only planters with drainage holes and cover them with a piece of broken clay pot. When repotting, choose a container that is significantly larger than the previous one. For ideal drainage, we recommend first filling the container 1/3 to 1/4 full with COMPO BIO GRANUPLANT® drainage and planting granules. Then add COMPO BIO universal potting soil to the pot. 2. Plant the plant. Remove the old soil and any dead roots, then place the plant, with its root ball, into the new container. Fill the planting container with COMPO BIO Universal Soil to approximately 1 cm below the rim and press down lightly. When planting woody plants, ensure that the trunk is not covered too high with soil. Finally, form a watering basin around the planted plant and water thoroughly. Application period: March to October. Active ingredients: Growing medium made from wood fibers, bark humus, green compost, coconut coir, organic fertilizer. Store protected from the elements such as sun and rain. The nutrient content may change slightly during prolonged storage. Seal opened packages for storage.
