Tremendously quick a great crosser and a brilliant header of the ball Cliff was considered to be the best left winger in the world in his pomp. This is his story. How he rose through the ranks to play for his home town team Swansea Town as a 17 year old his move to Tottenham Hotspur and development under the tutelage of Bill Nicholson the famous 1960/61 Double European success and his near move to Juventus. Through it all he proudly represented Wales and played in the 1958 World Cup where an injury ravaged side lost to Brasil and a young Pele in the Quarter Finals.
