The Super Tacks AS3 is an anatomical, form-fitting 360-degree fit around the forefoot, heel and ankle. CCM's MonoFrame shoe design is all about performance. The one-piece construction is designed to bring players into direct contact with the ice for more direct energy transfer and a tighter shoe. This is achieved by eliminating a glued and nailed lower part. Instead, RFM composite, a lightweight material, wraps under the boot. This allows the energy to flow seamlessly through the skate. The RFM material is slightly heavier and slightly less stiff than the carbon composite material used in the AS3 Pro, but still powerful.
