CalAsorb Calcium Citrate from Lamberts provides calcium in the form of citrate which is considered one of the most easily absorbable calcium compounds, partly due to its high solubility compared to other calcium compounds. Calcium supplements provide a convenient way to increase calcium intake and have been shown to help slow the inevitable bone mass loss that occurs with aging. Calcium contributes to normal blood clotting, energy metabolism, and the normal process of cell division and differentiation. It also supports the normal functioning of neurotransmission, digestive enzymes, and muscles. Calcium helps reduce bone demineralization in post-menopausal women. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures. This benefit is achieved with a daily dose of at least 1200 mg in women aged 50 or older. Take 3 tablets a day with a meal. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet or for a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of small children.
