Trofolastin Breast Scar Reducer is a product (dressing) that comes in a box with 3 packages, which contain 2 units of dressings in each (6 dressings in total). The polyurethane dressing is made up of two layers, the external surface is a microporous polyurethane membrane and the internal surface is an adherent acrylic film to facilitate its attachment to the skin. The dressing protects the scars from the sun's rays, is flexible and waterproof. Ideal for reducing recent or old hypertrophic scars, or keloids, produced by burns, general surgery, cosmetic surgery or traumatic wounds. The dressing can be trimmed to fit the desired area; reduces the height and softens the color of the scar. Reduces the discomfort caused by the scar. It is recommended to follow the following instructions: Carefully clean and dry the scar area to facilitate the application of Trofolastin Scar Reducer. Open the envelope and separate the protective layers. Place the dressing on top of the scar, making sure that no folds are formed and that its edges are fixed to the skin. The dressing can be cut to fit the dimensions of the scar (do not remove the protective layer before cutting and ensure that the size is sufficient to adhere to the healthy skin around the scar). Trofolastin Scar Reducer can remain attached to the skin surface for up to 7 days. The dressing is for single use. To remove the dressing, gently lift one corner and carefully pull up on the edges of the dressing.
