Description

USB 2.0 to RS485 converter and docking for RS485 interfaces with transmission distances reaching up to 1000 meters. Main chip: CP2102 (Silicon Labs) an industrial grade USB to UART bridge selected for reliability and stability. Lead pins include A+, B, GND, GND, 5V0. Industrial product with 15 kV ESD protection. Transmission distance up to 1200 meters (tested at 9600 baud). Supports baud rates up to 921600, higher than 115200. Industrial protection features: TVS transient suppression, ESD protection, short circuit protection of the AB signal line and protection of the power supply (short circuits do not burn). Multi-system hot plug support: Windows 98, Windows CE, Windows 2000/2003/2008, Windows XP/7/8/10, Windows Vista, and Linux. USB interface can be hot-plugged.
