Berberis from vbyotics is a dietary supplement rich in berberine. Berberine is an alkaloid compound found in many plants such as barberry (Berberis vulgaris), goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) or Oregon grape (Berberis aquifolium). Berberine reduces blood fat levels, as well as triglycerides. It also promotes insulin sensitivity by increasing the number and activity of available insulin receptors. This allows the same concentration of insulin to be more effective at moving glucose out of the bloodstream. It is recommended to take 1 capsule daily outside of meals. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
