Beckasin Pillowcase White Mulberry Silk

Silk pillowcase made exclusively from long-fiber mulberry silk. Hand-produced in 19 momme silk in size 50x60 cm. You will love the exclusive feel of silk, which is also incredibly durable and will last for many years to come. Silk is an allergy-friendly material that is also temperature-regulating, which means that regardless of the climate, it gives you a perfect night's sleep. How to wash silk in the machine Select a low heat setting (30-40°C) and a gentle program, e.g. delicates/silk. Only wash silk items with similar colors to avoid color bleeding. Use a mild detergent intended for delicate fabrics, e.g. ours from Grevinnans Rum. Place extra delicate items in a laundry bag or pillowcase to protect them from the washing machine drum. How to wash silk by hand Fill a bowl with lukewarm water. Add a little detergent and then place your silk items in the bowl. Gently move the clothes around in the bowl to facilitate the cleaning process. Once clean, drain the water and rinse each item of clothing separately in cold water until all detergent residue is gone. How to dry silk Getting the drying process right is just as important as washing it right when it comes to silk. Never wring your silk garments as this can leave permanent creases and risk breaking the fibers. Carefully squeeze out excess water and then dry them with a clean towel. Hang dry is fine, but avoid direct sunlight or heat.
