This can help reduce common feeding issues such as colic, reflux and gas. Clinical studies have shown that the Philips Avent bottle reduces colic and fussiness*. How? A valve in the nipple prevents vacuum build-up as your baby drinks to maintain uninterrupted feeding. This can reduce colic, gas, spit-up and burping. The AirFree™ system can be easily assembled with any Philips Avent anti-colic or Classic+ bottle. Cleaning is also very easy thanks to the wide neck of the bottle, and there are few parts to clean. The shape of the nipple allows for a secure latch and the ribbed texture helps prevent the nipple from collapsing for comfortable, uninterrupted feeding. To get started, fill the bottle with milk, place the AirFree™ insert over the rim and screw onto the nipple. Tilt the bottle down once to fill the nipple, and you're done. When using, make sure the AirFree™ insert stays on top. The nipple fills with milk even when horizontal, making upright feeding easier. You can use the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle with or without the AirFree™ system. The AirFree™ system is compatible with our Philips Avent Anti-Colic or Classic+ bottles in 125 ml, 260 ml and 330 ml. Various nipple flow levels available As your baby grows, the drink needs to be changed. Choose a teat with a flow rate suitable for your baby's development. Philips Avent Anti-Colic and Classic+ bottles can be used with or without the AirFree™ system, but should only be used with Philips Avent Anti-Colic or Classic+ teats.
