Najel Alum Stone Powder is obtained from alum crystals directly extracted from natural alunite quarries. These are reduced to powder by an alum stone maker in France. Antibacterial, alum powder prevents the formation of bacteria responsible for bad odors. Regulator of perspiration, it is used in particular in the manufacture of natural deodorant and prevents the formation of fungi. Its astringent properties are also appreciated by acne-prone skin. Najel recommends it for the care of the feet. Diluted in hot water in a foot bath or directly sprinkled inside your shoes to eliminate bad odors, it can also be used as an after-shave care. It is advisable to use to keep feet soft and protected, immerse them in a basin of hot water with 2 tbsp. to s. of alum powder for 10 to 20 minutes. Once the skin is soft, use a pumice stone to grate the calluses. After rinsing and drying your feet, moisturize them with a butter, balm or body lotion for soft and supple skin. Repeat regularly for soft feet all year round. Sprinkle your shoes, or even feet, with Najel alum powder before putting on socks and shoes. This application is recommended for shoes worn barefoot in summer.
