Low power operation Requires a 2.5V to 5.5V power supply. When the sensor detects UV light, the output voltage increases. Signal amplification The photodiode output is in the nano-amp range. An op-amp amplifies the signal to a more usable voltage level. Wide detection range Detects UV light in the 240 to 370 nm range, covering UVB and most UVA spectra. True UV sensor and UV index Uses a true UV sensor, so you can convert the output voltage to UV index by dividing the output by 0.1 V. Note that the UV LED on this product is 400 nm; do not use it if it is outside the sensor range. Use scenarios - Environmental monitoring and weather stations to track UV exposure. - UV curing, printing, or materials processing to monitor and control exposure. - Laboratory experiments requiring measurement of UV intensity in the 240-370 nm range.
