Robust protection suite prevents overcharge, reverse connection, short circuit, and temperature conditions, giving reliable operation and simplified system maintenance. Fully sealed IP67 enclosure with heat conductive silicone fill provides dustproof and waterproof protection for use in exposed outdoor installations. What it does Converts threephase turbine output to battery charging at rated battery voltages of 12V, 24V, or 48V. Automatically applies turbine braking when battery reaches the braking voltage of 60V and releases braking at the recover voltage of 54V. Supports manual braking by connecting a thin red control wire to battery positive when manual stop is required. Connect battery positive and negative to the controller battery positive and negative terminals. 2. Connect the threephase output lines from the wind turbine to the controller threephase input terminals. 3. To engage manual brake, connect the thin red control wire to battery positive. Remove the connection to cancel manual brake. Follow the included manual for terminal identification, cable sizing, and mounting instructions. Install the controller in a dry, ventilated position if possible to maintain thermal performance despite sealed enclosure. Indicator status and interpretation BATTERY indicator (green) on: battery connection is correct. WIND indicator (green, flashing): turbine is producing power; flash rate correlates with turbine speed. BRAKE indicator (red) on: battery is fully charged and turbine braking is active, or braking triggered by overcurrent protection. Typical applications Offgrid residential systems combining wind turbines with battery banks for backup or primary power. Remote installations such as cabins, telecom sites, or agricultural monitoring where wind is a primary renewable source. Hybrid renewable setups where wind complements solar charging to maintain battery state of charge. Safety and performance notes Ensure battery system voltage matches the controller rated voltage before connection.
