Rolling code or encrypted rolling code remotes are not suitable for cloning. Copying rolling code systems is not recommended because the original chip may use encryption and cloning is not reliable. Test remote signal and function after cloning to confirm successful transfer. Restore a previously saved code if a clone is accidentally cleared. Basic operation summary 1. Clear existing codes Press and hold lock and unlock keys simultaneously until the LED blinks rapidly three times, then release one finger and press the same button quickly three times until the LED flashes quickly. Release both fingers and press any key. If the LED goes off the memory is cleared. If the LED stays on repeat the clear procedure. 2. Copy a remote Hold the original remote in one hand and the cloning remote in the other, keeping them close together. Press the first key on both remotes at the same time. The LED will flash twice in about two seconds, then flash continuously after releasing. Press the key on the cloned remote; the light stays on indicating the first key is copied. Repeat for other keys. 3. Restore cleared code If a cloned remote was accidentally cleared, press and hold the bottom two keys together until the LEDs flash quickly, then press any key. A steady LED indicates codes have been restored. Troubleshooting tip If some keys work and others do not, clear all codes and reclone the keys that failed. There is no need to reclone keys that are already working.
