Traditional Lead Line. Ideal for calibrating electronic depth sounders, checking unmarked channels in your tender or even as a back-up. Popular for checking depth next to jetties etc when you can't use your boat.Marked with a colour toggle every metre and a colour change every 10 metres. 615g streamlined sounding lead weight. 30m of modern non-stretch line. Supplied on a plastic handle for easy and convenient storage. Lead weight has a recess in the bottom for determining the bottom type if desired - traditionally the recess would be filled with beeswax or similar to bring up a sample of the bottom material.
