BP4: Fully threaded along the full 500 mm length, so matching M5 nuts can be positioned where the assembly needs them.. BP5: Use for mid-size spacers, alignment rods and cut-to-length threaded pieces where M4 is too small but M6 is not needed, with careful tightening and checks for plastic-thread suitability.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M5 x 500 mm natural PA66 threaded rods are supplied as 2 fully threaded plastic rods. PA66, also called nylon polyamide 66, is a tough engineering plastic with useful wear resistance and good low-friction behaviour for nut fitting in light assemblies. This size is suited to mid-size spacers, alignment rods and cut-to-length threaded pieces where M4 is too small but M6 is not needed where a lighter non-metal rod is preferred. Nylon can absorb some moisture, so check thread fit and dimensional tolerance in damp or changing environments. Cut with suitable tools, avoid over-tightening the plastic thread and confirm material suitability before final use.
