1. The head assembly is fully adjustable and can be set to any desired position depending on the size and curvature of your project. Unlike most other head assemblies for bowl grinding machines, our bowl grinder features steel bearings, providing you with an ultrasmooth mandrel rotation while grinding on your lathe. 2. When you need to finish grinding the inside of your turned bowl, protecting it from abrasion marks can be a challenge. Using hand sandpaper can also be quite dangerous. Our bowl grinder essentially solves this problem by featuring a doublebearing, smoothrotating head that turns with the rotation of the bowl while the bowl spins on the lathe. The 352 mm length also helps keep your hands safe from hazards. 3. This also helps reduce the risk of marks on your workpiece, as the grinder rotates without snagging or getting stuck, unlike many other brands. It all comes down to pressure—or rather, the right pressure and a consistent technique. If you grind with a 2inch grinder, excessive pressure will likely lead to unsatisfactory results.
