Clamping panels doesn't have to be difficult. This clamping system is designed to clamp panels by applying pressure from the top, bottom and sides simultaneously! Clamping panels can definitely be a challenge. Especially when you're trying to use everyday pipe clamps or bar clamps. While these types of clamps work quite well for certain gluing projects, one thing they don't do is apply pressure from the top and bottom of the panels while gluing. In fact, with all that pressure applied to both sides, bar and pipe clamps will almost certainly bend, twist or shelf your panel gluing project. Let's make shelving panel gluing a thing of the past! The uniquely designed 4-way pressure solves this age-old problem by applying pressure to all four sides of your panel gluing. By simply turning the rotating clamp handle, all four sides of the clamp will be pulled inward at the same time. This applies even pressure to your panel and prevents panels from warping, bending or warping. .Create clamps of any length with the 4-notch durable plastic bars that provide maximum adjustability to handle various stock widths. The clamp can be used for boards up to 6" thick by adjusting the clamp width capacity with the appropriate number of notches. Turn the handle clockwise to tighten the clamp and counterclockwise to release the pressure. The 4-way pressure clamp is equipped with side pressure pads to prevent damage to your stock. .Now you can ly attach wide boards, shelves, table tops and more up to 6" thick. To install the clamps, simply attach the clamp to any length 2 x 2's (2" x 4" ripped in half) with the provided wood screws, apply wood glue to your project, place the clamps on your panel boards and turn the handle to tighten the clamp on all four sides. For results, we recommend placing a 4-way pressure clamp every 12" to 18". .This clamp package comes with two complete 4-way pressure clamp assemblies. It includes: 2 swivel handle assemblies, 2 tail assembly assemblies, 4 side pressure pads, and 12 4-notch bars. This setup allows you to create two 4-way pressure clamps together.
