Setup tips and notes
The controller will automatically identify system voltage on power up.
If battery voltage falls below the discharge cutoff, the controller will stop output; the controller will resume output once the solar panel recharges the battery to the recovery voltage (12.6 V for 12 V systems).
The normal working voltage range is adjustable; if adjustments are needed, follow the controller interface steps:
1. Press and hold the MCU control button for about 3 to 4 seconds to enter the management interface.
2. Use the add button to set the desired voltage, for example 13.7 V for overcharge threshold.
3. Press the MCU button again to save settings; wait until the display stops flickering to confirm the save.
The controller supports negative MOSFET switching and requires the positive poles of panels, battery, and controller to be connected together as specified.
Applications and use scenarios
Offgrid home solar systems: manage battery charging and load control for small household appliances and lighting.
Vehicle and recreational use: power accessories in automobiles and motorcycles while protecting the vehicle battery.
Street lighting or remote lighting control: use the selectable load mode and programmable timer to switch lights at night and conserve battery capacity.
Compatibility
Works with 12 V and 24 V battery systems and solar panels sized within the specified PV input limits.
Suitable for automotive and motorcycle setups and for small household appliances and lighting systems.
This controller provides reliable battery protection, simple user controls, and flexible configuration for a range of offgrid solar applications.
