Solar MPPT Charge Controller for 12V to 96V Battery Systems Compact, efficiency MPPT solar charge controller designed to convert PV energy into battery charge for offgrid and gridconnected systems. Supports a wide PV input range and automatic battery voltage detection to simplify installation and operation. This unit provides charging only and does not supply 220V AC output. Key benefits Wide PV input and flexible system design: accepts photovoltaic input from 15V to 230V, enabling connection of large solar arrays or long PV strings. Broad battery compatibility and automatic detection: automatically recognizes system voltages from 12V to 96V and supports leadacid types (sealed, AGM, gel, flooded) and usersupplied lithium batteries. MPPT performance: maximum power point tracking rate is at least 99 percent and conversion efficiency is greater than 97 percent, maximizing energy harvest from solar panels. Builtin protections and intelligent limiting: onboard logic limits charging power and current beyond rated values and provides multilayer protection including battery low and voltage alarms, overtemperature, overload, and shortcircuit protection. Clear, configurable control and monitoring: LCD display shows operating data, daily power generation curves and current curves, and offers programmable absorption voltage, floating voltage, low voltage disconnection, and load timer options. Reliable thermal management: porous heat dissipation design plus a cooling fan that turns on when temperature is greater than 45C and turns off when temperature is lower than 40C. Fan bearing technology extends service life to approximately 5000 hours under normal use. Performance and operation PV input voltage: 15V to 230V for flexible array configurations. Battery charging range: supports batteries from 12V up to 96V with automatic system voltage identification. Operating temperature range: 20C to 40C. Intelligent protection behavior: allows 110 percent to 120 percent output for 30 seconds before switching to bypass; triggers protection if output rises above 160 percent for 300 milliseconds. Charging examples based on a 120 amp charging current: 12V system = 1440W, 24V = 2880W, 36V = 4320W, 48V = 5760W, 60V = 7200W, 72V = 8640W, 84V = 10080W, 96V = 11520W. Maximum battery voltage supported is 96V. Controls and user features LCD provides realtime power and status information, daily generation and current curves, and configurable load control modes. Programmable absorption voltage, floating voltage, low voltage disconnect, and loading timer for tailored battery management. Automatic system voltage recognition removes the need for manual selection of battery voltage. Protections Battery low and voltage alarms. Overtemperature protection and automatic cooling fan control. Overload and shortcircuit protection with automatic limiting and bypass behavior. Limits charging power and current to prevent exceeding rated capacity. Suitable applications and scenarios RV and mobile power systems: charge onboard battery banks from rooftop panels while parked or traveling, ensuring efficient charge management for house loads driven by an inverter. Offgrid home or cabin systems: manage charging of battery banks from array installations, supporting lighting, DC loads, and inverterbacked AC loads when paired with a separate inverter.
