The higher the mesh number, the more holes and the smaller the particle size that can be filtered. 4. Filtering soy milk typically requires a mesh size between 100150 mesh/inch. 5. Filtering wine and tea impurities usually requires a mesh size between 150200 mesh/inch (first use a 100 mesh filter, then refine with a 200 mesh filter). 6. Filtering milk or juice typically uses a mesh size between 200250 mesh/inch. 7. Color filtration usually requires a mesh size between 80200 mesh/inch (base color with 80100 mesh/inch, surface color with 150200 mesh/inch).
