The 1 Bamboo Charcoal Stick - Japan (2x15cm) from Takesumi has an adsorption capacity 3 times that of conventional activated carbon. It is capable of adsorbing pollutants, chemical residues and pesticides still present in running water. It provides different minerals such as potassium, silicic acid and calcium. Convenient, it also reduces the taste of chlorine and limescale. This takesumi stick is particularly useful for purifying the water contained in gourds or bottles. It is advisable before using the twig, boil it for about 5 minutes before letting it dry in a warm and dry place. To purify the water, place the takesumi in the container filled with water (0.25 to 0.5 liters of water) between 5 and 12 hours. So you can drink the purified water Remember to boil the takesumi every 1 to 3 months to release the toxic particles accumulated in the water. You can then recycle it as plant fertilizer. Keep for a maximum of 6 months; however, it is essential to reactivate it regularly (every 1 to 3 months).
