Gli Spaghetti del Mare di Algamar ricchi di fibre, hanno un contenuto eccezionale di ferro e un sapore che ricorda la seppia. Le sue forme allungate e strette danno il nome a questa esuberante alga bruna, molto gustosa e frequente nelle coste profonde con acque agitate. Sia cruda che cotta, per consistenza e sapore, è una delle alghe con più personalità e più successo tra le varietà atlantiche.
