Kombu seaweed 100 g

Algas Kombu de Algamar é uma alga selvagem seca do Atlântico, de consistência carnuda, que vive em águas profundas e pode medir até dois metros. Algas castanhas grandes, vivendo a uma profundidade média de 12 m. Especialmente rico em ácido algínico, de consistência carnuda, usa-se na cozinha para dar sabor ou como outro vegetal. O seu ácido glutâmico suaviza as leguminosas. Tem um efeito saciante e é rico em minerais, especialmente cálcio e magnésio. Recomenda-se preparar no forno ou cozinhar Forno: Cozer previamente durante 5 minutos a 200ºC sem demolhar, ou passar por uma frigideira muito quente. Para sopas, legumes, guisados, tortilhas, empanadas... Cozinhado: 20 minutos numa panela de pressão ou em água a ferver durante 1 hora, juntamente com as leguminosas (lentilhas, grão-de-bico, etc...). Se a cor branca aparece nas algas, deve-se aos seus próprios sais, que atuam como conservantes naturais. Conservar em saco fechado. ES-ECO-022-GA
